Well I won a free Kindle. Tim Challies at challies.com held the drawing. Tim is the a blogger of the first rank and he has found a way to offset the rising costs of maintaining his costly blog by way of a sort of subscription. I know, subscribe to a blog??? Well I did and won a Kindle. Along with a host of discount to things I dig.
The Kindle arrived today and I feel like I was jipped. Jipped that I never knew how great a product Amazon created before today. Already I love it. You can read reviews all day about the Kindle as I have, what you are unlikely to discover though are the 700+ books Amazon has made available for free on their reader. I love books, paper books. However hundreds of free ebooks from classic authors like Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Emerson, Alexander Hamilton, Martin Luther...ect...
